As part of the college’s policy to support and encourage the wider aspects of education, Aloha offers pupils the chance of private instrumental tuition.
The lessons are taught by specialist music teachers in our purpose-built Secondary School music practice rooms.
Practical musicianship is an extremely important part of music in Aloha, and this part of our enrichment programme has had a tremendous effect on the music curriculum. It not only allows the pupils the opportunity to further their skills in this subject, but will also initiate more ensemble work and be a great help and incentive to our examination pupils.
Pupils in Years 5 to 9 have the opportunity to take individual, weekly, thirty-minute lessons in Piano, Guitar, Drums, Saxophone, Flute and Violin during the lunch break.
