Year 11 Trip to Cologne 25-28 Oct 2016

The third edition of the Cologne trip was yet again an enriching experience. Arriving in surprisingly mild climates we got started with our busy schedule straight away. Four days suffice to get to know the public transport system very well and we got onto every train even if it meant we were sometimes out of breath trying to catch them!! Such sporty spirit was rewarded in the Cologne Sports Museum where we missed the long jump record by only a few centimetres.

Buying delicious presents in the Chocolate Museum, showing off our golfing skills in a 3D mini-golf circuit and a guided walk around Cologne were just a few highlights. We also had a fantastic day out in a nearby theme park and enjoyed a breathtaking panoramic view of the city from the dizzy heights of the Cologne Triangle!
