Year 1 had a visit from the coast guard. He explained to us the different ways that we can keep safe on the beach! We learned about boat safety, the colour and meanings of different beach flags, some important information about jellyfish and what different symbols in the sand mean. Most importantly the coast explained what we should do in case of an emergency.
