Enjoy Summer!

You may wish to join Aloha College Marbella Summer School because you want to have an edge on your colleagues in September by reinforcing your skills in Languages, Math or Science. Or, you are just spending the summer in Marbella and want to have a great time and perhaps make some new friends.

Even, you may be joining Aloha College in September and want to find out the routines, meet the teachers and find your way around the school, so you will not be “new” in September!

Make the most of this summer!
Academic classes provide a great chance to catch up or get ahead of your friends in a whole host of subjects from Spanish to Science.

For those with energy to spare there’s all sorts of sports you can enjoy, plus adventure sports to keep things interesting. Each week there are also great outings organised from beaching to cultural visits. Summer School runs for 3 weeks and students can choose to join for as many weeks as they like.

Aloha College Marbella has 3 sports pitches: an astroturf pitch and two all-purpose sports pitches. Facilities include an Arts and Sports Hall, a Science block, a Media Centre which holds the main Library, Science laboratories, IT suites, Art studios, a large music studio and a drama suite with tiered performance area. There are wireless computer connections throughout (WiFi)

Dates and Times – TO BE CONFIRMED

Dates: Monday – Friday. 9.30am – 2pm.

(Snack and juices are provided). The day is split into 4 sessions and the children can choose a different activity for each session.

3-4 years:

Children in these age groups choose activities from the Programm

5-15 years:

Musical games, singing and dance, story telling, sand/water play, computers, board games, cookery, art and craft activities – colouring, painting, cutting, modelling, sewing etc. There is also the outdoor activity area for the children to enjoy, with its secure, soft surface (Children in this age group do not participate in activities outside the college).

Sports & activities!

There is a great variety of sports on offer, plus a weekly trip to, for example, Aquapark or the Zoo, AND optional adventure activities such as kayaking or climbing.

Summer School culminates in a Sports Day where children compete in their favourite sporting activities, and parents and friends are welcome.

Programme

Academic

English: Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced.

Spanish: Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced.

Mathematics: Using interactive Smart Boards.

ICT: Desktop publishing, speadsheets, databases, games.

Beach Day

Outings: Every Wednesday, recreational and cultural trips are organised.

Adventure Trips

Sports: Football, basketball, softball, volleyball, tennis, chess, trampolining and more

Adventure Sports: Every Thursday students can enjoy kayaking, raft building, climbing, abseiling and exciting beach games. The extra cost involved is 50 euros per student, which covers transport, insurance, all equipment and fully qualified instructors. Places must be booked on the Monday of each week.

Sport Day: A sports day will be held at the end of Summer School where children will be competing in their favourite sporting activities, parents and friends are welcome.

Cultural

Music: Learn and practice a wide range of instruments.

Art: Paint, draw, create graphics, illustrate, observe.

Location

Aloha College is situated on the outskirts of Marbella on Spain’s Costa del Sol. The College is flanked by the championship golf course of Aloha and is opposite a very popular golf academy.

How to find us

Road access is excellent and 3 minutes along the highway takes you to the beach or the marina of Puerto Banús and within 5 minutes you are in Marbella town centre.
