Primary School children develop their IT abilities through different learning opportunities, including the regular use of iPads in the classroom. This is not only a motivational and interactive way to engage them in lessons, but also a way to learn skills of the future.

The photos below show a Year 4 English lesson in which the children were identifying nouns, adjectives and verbs in poetry. The children had the poem ‘Chocolate Cake’ by Michael Rosen open on one page and an online dictionary open on another so they could check the word classification. They used these to help them complete their tables.
