The Creative Arts department have recently returned from a successful education visit to London. Twenty two IB students from both Visual Arts and Theatre joined members of staff for a five day cultural tour of the city. London was the perfect choice of location as it gave our students a valuable array of experiences and an ideal opportunity to enrich their understanding of their subject areas. Art visited a vast array of galleries including the Tate modern and Saatchi, and the Theatre students enjoyed a range of experiences that included live theatre, backstage tours and studio workshops. Other highlights included the London Eye, a live comedy show and the West End production of Oliver. Some students also had the opportunity to look at university courses.
