To further introduce and develop the game of chess in the Primary School, today our Year 3 – Year 6 children have had the opportunity to participate in a chess workshop in school. This w led by a chess specialist from Marbella Chess School – the most skillful children will now be invited to enter an Internal Chess Competition to take place next week.

Chess is a highly recommended game as, not only it is enjoyable, but it also helps develop strategic thoughts and a greater understanding of coordinates.
