At Aloha College a main focus is to guide our pupils towards the values of compassion and respect for those who are not as fortunate as ourselves. With this in mind, last week we focused on Charities and collected non-perishable food items and used clothing to take to Cáritas.
We are aware of the growing number of people within our local communities who are struggling to provide for the basic needs of their families as a result of the current economic climate, and therefore, we are happy to contribute a little bit to improve their situation.
This morning we delivered 4 big boxes of food, as well as 7 boxes and many bags of clothing, to Cáritas in La Cala de Mijas. Shaneze Sibille and Anya Zavery from Primary School had the opportunity to experience this in first person.
They gave us the thank you letter below, which we want to share with you.
Thank you once again to all our parents for their generosity.
