On the 31 of January, the year 10 Economics class left in the morning for a day trip to visit Malaga to see how some of the topics learnt in class fit into the real world and to enable them to see the city in a different perspective. Students had a look around the port area and were asked to focus on local businesses and services, to see if they were supplied by government or private individuals and then explain why. There were some great examples in the area, such as a lighthouse and private restaurants. After lunch, the group walked through Malaga to the Picasso Museum where students visited the museum to consider why Malaga has such an institution and how it benefits society. Students behaved perfectly and were a credit to the College.
