Dear Parents,
Following an extensive search among high quality-football coaches, I would like to introduce you to our new Head Coach of Aloha College Football Club, Mr Alejandro Avila Esteban, and his assistant coach Mr Alfredo Gil Gomez. They will be joined by David Machuca who has successfully trained Aloha pupils over many years.
Alejandro Avila Esteban
- Played 432 games in the second division
- Recognised player with most matches, minutes and seasons in the history of Marbella.
- Four seasons goalkeeper coach Marbella FC
- Two seasons second coach Marbella FC
- Coach at Nebrija University
- Coach of junior categories at Malaga FC
Alejandro shares the same values as Aloha College: Respect, Honesty, Effort, and Care.
He is determined to take our club to the next level including some international tournaments if possible.
His further qualifications include:
- University degree (TAFAD)
- Sports technician Levels 1 and 2
He is Spanish with a good command of English.
He will be assisted by Alfredo Gil Gomez:
- 10 years playing 3rd division football
- Coached / coordinated the Football School Atco Marbella
- University degree
He too is Spanish with a good command of English.
They will be joined by David Machuca, whom you already know, as we have increased the number of coaches to 3.
I ask please that you give all of them your full support.
They will be monitored by Mr Toal, our Head of Physical Education.
All three coaches will be attending Mr Toal’s internal meeting on Wednesday at 4.10 pm. I have asked the football coaches to come in a little earlier, 3.45 pm, if any of you want to meet them personally, they will be in the School Hall.
We are all confident it’s going to be another great season.
