Aloha College Marbella has once again partnered with Plastic Free Seas Worldwide in their fight to keep the beaches and oceans clean.
About 8 million tons of plastic are dumped into the sea each year, so our community’s mission is to make everyone aware of the importance of reducing this amount, as it is extremely harmful to marine life.
Aloha College students joined other volunteers from international schools to clean one of the city’s beaches.
The first beach cleaning of the Plastic Free Seas Worldwide association was on the Costa del Sol in 2017 with a team of 23 volunteers and they collected 120 KG of plastic!
PFSW is a charity whose aim is to help marine conservation and educate people of all ages, especially the youngest, under the motto:
“TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE, TOGETHER WE CAN OVERCOME OUR PROBLEM WITH PLASTIC”
Aloha College Marbella has been certified as an ECO School and is very committed to preserving the environment. Each beach, sea and ocean that we can voluntarily improve will mean a small step towards a better and cleaner planet.
