We are delighted to have received the results of the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge, which students from Year 9 and 10 took part in on Thursday 4 February. Congratulations to the following students, who have achieved a certificate for their excellent performance:
Bronze certificates – Dariy Khudoyan, Khalil Fakhry, Michael Stanik, Olga Okhotinskaya, Lukas Jorgensen, Lauren Oakes and Jieyi Yang.
Silver certificates – Rosie Rainer, Antonio Leon, Julia Krzeminska and Lucia Fernandez.
Gold certificates – Maximo Ivakhno and Georgy Chekharin.
Particular congratulations must go to Maximo and Georgy, whose performance was so impressive that they have been invited to take part in the next round of the competition, putting them in the top 2000 problem solving students per year group worldwide!
This will be great inspiration to Year 7 and 8 students who have the opportunity to take part in the Junior Maths Challenge on the 28 April.
