12 of Aloha’s best mathematicians from Key Stage 3 attended the annual Maths Competition at Sotogrande International School. The students were split into mixed groups alongside students from other international schools, and each group tackled a carousel of challenges involving mathematics, problem solving and teamwork.
“We met lots of new people and had an interesting experience. Sotogrande was a nice school, but we prefer Aloha!” was the comment of Adriana, one of the participants.
The students were superb all day, always amongst the first to solve the problems, and confidently explaining their maths to new friends. Well done to Mateo Iturmendi Gamble, Evelina Stanikova, Max Ivakhno Bykova, Danila Yakushev, Martín Ranea Marina, Miriam Martín Méndez, Daniel Martín Méndez, Adriana León Villares, Lauren Oakes, Carolina Villalón, Carlos Park and Olga Okhotinskaya!
