Literary Prize – Sergio
One of our Year 8 pupils, Sergio Mees Pérez, has been awarded 2nd prize in a Literary competition organised by the regional government, in which schools in the whole of Andalucia take part. Sergio received his award at the prize-giving in Granada on 26 November.
Christmas Bazaar – 27 November
Saturday’s lashing rain did not deter Aloha’s family, friends and local community from turning out en masse at the school’s annual Xmas Bazaar.
Save the Children Charity Race
ALL Aloha College students, from 3 – 18 year olds, ran the Save the Children Charity Race on Friday 19 November.

Assembly Year 2BMC
Our assembly was based on healthy eating. It highlighted the fact that if you have a healthy attitude towards food, you will in turn have a healthy attitude towards learning and working. emphasised the importance of eating a balanced diet, with five portions of fruit and vegetables a day. Eating and exercising correctly, ensures healthy bodies and minds in later life.
Sponsored Walk
We are proud to say that on Saturday 16 November several Aloha pupils joined in a sponsored walk organised by the Town Hall to raise money for the Butterfly Children.
Amanda Aspeborg – IB Visual Arts
Amanda Aspeborg an IB Visual Arts Student, was recently provided with a challenging opportunity to work alongside patients with mental disabilities at the Centro Penitenciario de Sevilla. It took Amanda six months to organise the visit and she was delighted to be allowed to work with an art therapist on a series of workshops.
5JGL Assembly
Mr Galway’s class assembly was based on the story about the Wooden Horse of Troy.
Halloween Party – Years 5 and 6
Year 13 organised a Halloween Party for Years 5 and 6 on Friday 22 October 2010.
