2BMC Assembly
Some of our families, friends and teachers in Aloha, are from Ireland and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th of March each year. Year 2 decided to do an assembly portraying the story of St. Patrick and Ireland. The audience enjoyed humorous pirates, cheeky leprechauns and dancing sheep.

This year’s competition has now come to an end and the winners in the Aloha College school league table are Sharelock Stocks.
Inter-house Quiz
Representatives from each year group and House used the “i-answer” technology in our first inter-house quiz.

All Aloha College students enjoyed an Andalusian breakfast of “pan con aceite” para celebrar la festividad de Andalucia.
Book Week – Visit of author Dan Freedman
English author Dan Freedman visited Aloha College on Thursday 23rd February 2012 to give a talk to Years 5+6 and 7+8 and join our celebration of Book Week.
Book Week – Book character
On 23 February all Junior pupils came dressed as a character in their favourite book.
Book Week – Senior School readers
During Book Week the Junior School Library hosted a session where Senior School pupils read to the younger ones.
Chess Tournament Marbella – KS3 + KS4
Students of Key Stage 3 participated in a chess tournament organised by the Marbella Chess School. Many students discovered a new game that challenged their minds, while others improved the chess knowledge they already have. The winners of this tournament will represent Aloha College in the II Inter-school Chess Tournament in the Palacio de Congresos in Marbella in April.
