A beautiful day dawned yet again for the Aloha College Christmas Bazaar on Saturday 2 December. Soon after it opened at 11 am, the place was buzzing with children and grown-ups eager to look at the presents on offer, try their luck on the wine and chocolate tombolas and of course enjoy the fabulous international food stalls, where you could partake of breakfast and lunch, and take something home for tea. The children were kept entertained with face-painting, bouncy castles, and lots of energetic games.
People who have nothing to do with Aloha College return every year, as do our ex-pupils, who have very special memories of checking out all the stalls with their friends when they were younger. It is a great example of how people can work together and communicate to others that special Aloha spirit.
The Principal, Mrs Elizabeth Batchelor, said “I would like to thank the PTA mums for their co-ordination of this event, and all the other parents, children, staff and Board members who supported our annual tradition.”
