On Saturday 15 October, a plastic collection was organised at Cabopino beach, an initiative taken by the founder of Plastic Free Seas Worldwide. Especially pleasing was to see how many Y6 students from Aloha College turned up to help! As a consequence, instead of collecting 150 kg of plastic as stipulated, the collection was 350 kg! We are very proud of the participation of our students in cleaning up the beaches, it gives us the opportunity to take advantage of the natural beauty of the places we live in. This also points to the high level of awareness that is growing in the school in order to become an ECO School.
