To kick start the IGCSE course Year 10 students had a fantastic day out in Málaga in October, visiting the Pompidou centre and the CAC.  The new permanent collection focusing on Utopias proved a great starting point for discussion on contemporary art and the students were engaged and enthusiastic in their responses to the guided tour.  We took an amble through Málaga, taking in some great examples of street art before arriving at the CAC.  The work of American artist Hernan Bas proved very popular with some expert sketching by our budding artists.
