WORLD PEACE DAY SEPT 2018

On 21 September, the whole school came together again on International Peace Day and we took time to consider how we can contribute to this ideal in our daily lives. This year, the children of Aloha are making a very special contribution, since one of the related values is the way we care about the planet in which we all live, and where we would like to live in peace. Therefore, this year, despite the pleasure produced by watching the release of white balloons into the sky, we decided not to have them as part of our ceremony as they may very well end up polluting our seas. Messages of peace were read and we held a minute’s silence to reflect on the meaning of peace.
