The second week of December saw our annual IB Creative Arts residential trip to London. Giving breadth and depth to our Music, Theatre Studies and Visual Arts students´ experience of the arts, this year´s packed itinerary included everything from East End Street Art to The Royal Albert Hall, the Tate Modern to the Royal Academy of Art. By night we saw a wonderful range of theatre, from blockbuster musical Chicago to cutting edge modern drama and even an Agatha Christie murder mystery. We managed to fit in a backstage tour of the Royal National Theatre and a spooky trip to The London Dungeon. All in all, an action-packed week which will prove an inspiration for our students as they prepare their IB portfolios.
