Year 4ACP Assembly – Endangered Species

Endangered species assembly – 16/11/11 4ACPThe children in 4ACP decided that their assembly this year should be about Endangered Species.They had been studying Habitats in science and wanted to find out more about why some animals were endangered.The assembly took the form of a news interview with various children interviewing some endangered animals from around the world.These included: The Giant Panda, The Siamese Crocodile, The Polar Bear, The Cross-River Gorilla and the Iberian Lynx. These interviews were supported by a video and song, plus some poems the children had learn.The children thoroughly enjoyed preparing the assembly and learn a lot about the critical situation a lot of species find themselves in today.
