On Tuesday 15 September a group of Year 11 French students set off with Mme Postigo and Mme Wade on a cultural/linguistic visit to Paris. By staying in the 1st arrondissement central district, the first evening, we were able to have a long walk admiring all the beautiful illuminated buildings such as the Hôtel de Ville, the Tour Saint Jacques and Notre Dame Cathedral. The second day we took a cruise along the Seine stopping to visit the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysées and the Eiffel Tower. After so much culture the students deserved a bit of fun so they spent the following day at Disneyland Paris. The final day was back to culture and trying to practise the French language with a visit to the Louvre museum. Congratulations to Carmen and Valeria for achieving 12/12 in the Louvre Treasure Trail. Valeria was also the student who rose to the photographic challenge, so well done to her once again.
