The U16 basketball tournament this year was a very well contested affair with twenty participating schools involved from across the Costa del Sol international community.

Aloha College Boys A and B teams narrowly missed out on a final place beaten in their respective semi finals. The B team went on to claim the bronze medal beating the A team in a tense 3rd and 4th play off.

Eventual winners of the boys tournament was The British College of Benalmadena beating Atalaya in the final.

Aloha girls had a different story, going all the way to the final and winning! The beat the favourites BIC by 1 point in a very hard fought final match. They girls attacked with patience and defended with aggression. They did not want to let the lead slip and held on to the points difference with two minutes to go.

An excellent achievement and credit to them all and Miss Booth for preparing them so well.
