On 9 March 43 Aloha Students (Years 10 and 12) and 4 teachers took an educational visit to the APM Terminal in Algeciras to gain first hand experience of the global transportation operations of the MAERSK shipping container company.The students were given a guided tour and were shown how a crane loaded and unloaded the containers from the vessels.A questionnaire was given to the students and the visit will be followed up by a MAERSK representative giving an informative talk at the college.
