Selwo Aventura Trip – Year 8 and Year 13 ESS students

The rain didn’t stop our learning at Selwo this week! After a soggy start, year 8 and year 13 ESS students enjoyed a tour of the park seeing a range of animals such as cheetahs, elephants, red pandas, snakes and lions. After close encounters with lemurs, goats and birds, the Serengeti safari took them off road to spot rhino, hippo, wildebeest and feed the zebra! Finally, students had a fascinating biodiversity talk about snakes and rhinos. Together, students learnt about the importance of conservation as well as the valuable contribution that Selwo makes to help to maintain biodiversity.
