PTA and Family Events
A small group of dedicated and committed parents belong to our PTA

They work closely alongside the managers of the school bringing ideas and initiatives, organising social events and helping to raise money for the college.

Aloha College is fortunate to have a PTA, whose members give up their time to support the school and our community.
The main purpose of the PTA is to help raise funds for projects which significantly enhance the pupils’ lives in the school. A recent project funded by the PTA was the purchase of additional state-of-the-art equipment for our new Arts and Sports Hall, including two full-size professional trampolines.

PTA

The PTA also arranges social events which bring together parents, staff, governors and pupils for a number of activities, including our traditional annual Christmas Bazaar, coffee mornings, and beach parties, to name but a few.

Family Fun Day

Unlike our longstanding Christmas Bazaar, the Aloha College Family Fun Day is a very recent introduction to our list of school traditions. The idea of this event is for pupils, families and staff to join together and enjoy a relaxing fun day – a way of thanking everyone for their support and commitment throughout the school year.

Christmas Bazaar

The Christmas Bazaar is of course their most famous annual achievement. They work tirelessly with their usual energy and good cheer to make this outstanding event something to remember each year.

Their fund-raising has allowed for major projects such as a brand-new Astroturf pitch. Their dedication to the school is invaluable.

Beach Party

A wonderful social evening welcomes all parents at Bono’s Beach located in Marbella. Parents, teachers and children join together to enhance the lovely family atmosphere that Aloha College is renowned for. The parents shared good food and are accompanied by music. A wonderful informal evening to be enjoyed by all.

Other Family Events

There is a wide range of activities designed to make everyone want to join in. Participants can recharge their batteries at our food and drink stalls and terrace “restaurant”. Occasionally the event may involve some fund-raising, either for charity or a particularly ambitious school project, but without losing sight of its main raison d’être.
