Some of Aloha College’s most talented mathematicians from Year 10 and 11 took part in a ISMTF Mathematics Competition in February with 40 other international schools from all over Europe. During the weekend they had the opportunity to meet students from a wide variety of nationalities and backgrounds and on the last day they had time to explore the centre of Brussels. They agreed that although the competition questions were very challenging, the experience helped them to understand and enjoy mathematics even more.At this very moment, our IB students are preparing to fly to Warsaw to attend the Senior Maths competition and in April our Year 9 students will defend their school in the Junior ISMFT Competition in Basel, Switzerland
