KS4 International Junior Mathematics Competition in Vienna Feb 2019

From 8 to 10 February three of our best mathematicians from Key Stage 4 were selected to represent Aloha at the International Junior Mathematics Competition in Vienna; Ablai Tatishev, Yuru Liu and Evelina Stanikova. With 225 students competing from all over Europe, and beyond, this is an intense competition of the most incredible mathematicians of their generation, a pretty intimidating place to be! Our team worked really well together and ranked middle out of all of those teams, which is a fantastic achievement. They also got to see the beauty of Vienna as part of a maths scavenger hunt and used their mathematical skills to break out of an escape room.
