Yesterday five students from Years 7 to 11 proudly represented Aloha College at Laude San Pedro’s Fourth Maths Olympiad for schools across the coast. This was a wonderful learning opportunity for them and a chance to meet some of the best mathematics students in our International School community.
Our pupils competed in mixed groups with other students from other schools and were given a range of challenging Mathematical puzzles to solve which encouraged problem solving, teamwork and communication. The collaboration was intense and participative. The atmosphere in this event was excellent and Jeremy Albouhair’s team won the Maths Olympiad. Well done!
