Basketball WK50

Last Wednesday, our pre-A team played against CB Alhaurín El Grande. Aloha was superior throughout the game. Little by little our players are acquiring more basketball knowledge and they are playing a more colorful and effective basketball, both Adriana and Akezhan gave the team an offensive fluidity that had not been seen before. In this match we must highlight Adriana Acosta and Akezhan Tatishev. The match ended with a result of 49 to 12.

On Friday we played against a direct opponent, CB Benahavís, we were third and they were fourth in the league classification. We decided to play the first quarter with a very offensive team and in the second quarter with a very defensive team. The defensive team was more effective than the offensive team. The offensive team played the first quarter, finishing with a partial of 8 to 2 and the defensive team played the second quarter, with a partial of 12 to 0. Claudia Argüelles was the MVP of the game thanks to her intensity and leadership on the field. Claudia is developing a lot this year as a player, has gone from being a defensive profile player to being able to steal, score and assist if your team needs it. The match ended with a result of 34 to 16 for Aloha College.

On Sunday we had the baby day. Aloha won the first match and lost the second. The first match ended with victory for Aloha with a result of 12 to 8 and the second ended with a victory for Colegio Platero with a score of 6 to 16.

For us it is a joy to find ourselves with weeks full of basketball, we always make an effort to teach children basketball while they are growing. As coaches we also learn a lot by sharing these experiences with our players.
